I can see her face

colorismThere are benches now. I can sit and watch. I can see what happens when a little white girl on a scooter encounters a row of African American women’s faces of multiple hues in an exhibit titled Colorism. It’s about prejudice of not just women of color but women of specific shades of color. From where I sit, I can see her face. I can see that something has changed.
