Roots, wings, and a chance for the kids

rashidshawnkidsIt looks nice and neat how it’s ending up, how the stories converge (see an article that came out yesterday here). Rashid (whose non-profit recently bought its own land) gets to put down roots. Shawn (who just spent the last month on an inspirational immersion trip around Africa) gets wings. And the kids (including ones now on probation due to deviant behavior) stand a chance again as their neighborhood changes in so many ways. I’m keeping my eye (and camera) on these stories.
