It’s two years now since the Atlanta BeltLine eliminated the Ashview Community Garden. I’ve been going back every two months, as I promised when I wrote this article. Here is my two-year photo essay. Here is my final post. For the majority of this time, what was once a garden for kids and the neighborhood has become simply a place for a port-a-potty for construction workers. Pictured is a multiple-exposure photo that marries those two realities. This photo (or some variation of it) will be my final found-space art exhibit of the year, somewhere to be determined, somewhere soon.
